Dan Long PRESIDENT

Dan grew up in the rust belt in Northwest Indiana while his family had management careers within the Steel Mill or supporting industries. He graduated from Indiana University and went on to start his import/export, manufacturing and distribution career in 1993. After spending his first few years with Pinnacle Threaded Products he went on to a key Senior Management Career in Sales, Operations and Supply Chain Management with Active Screw & Fastener. After helping Active grow by over 100% in the seven years with the company Dan became Vice President and partner with a niche sink hardware importer ILI. While still owner of ILI Dan took a position as Vice President – Mill Division while helping HTI execute a management buyout from Allegany in 2004 taking HTI from a public company to private. While at HTI Dan spearheaded HTI’s Mill Divisions growth by over 150% in less than years. On top of his duties as Vice President of Mill he also took on responsibility of Vice President of Materials responsible for Purchasing, Inventory Planning, Import Traffic, Quality and all Asian Operations. Managing the import of over 5,ooo containers annually and well over $100,000,000 in spend was quite a learning opportunity. Dan left HTI in March of 2007 to become the President and major investor of Keane Chemical Distribution. Keane is a company that exports metal finishing chemicals from the USA to Asia mainly marketing their products to the fastener industry. He is an investor and Board Member of the following companies: Keane Chemical Distribution - LLC, DML Distribution – Inc., Daniel Morgan Salons - Inc., and Factory Direct Logistics - Inc.



Charles Chang

Charles Chang has spent his career in various sales, management and ownership roles in the fastener industry in Taiwan. He is educated by National Cheng Kung Universtiy having graduated in 1996. He began his sales career at Jin Herr in 1991. After a very successful Sales career at Jinn Her he left in 1996 to work for Reynolds as their Taiwan Branch Manager. He later became the Director of Asian Operations for Reynolds and later for HTI through their acquisition of Reynolds. In 2005 Charles became owner of his own CNLA certified inspection laboratory. In 2007 he joined FDL and currently supports FDL’s inspection, and supply chain efforts in Asia with a team of 11 experienced team members. Charles is also an investor in other companies in related industries as well. Charles also speaks several languages including: Taiwanese, Mandarin Chinese, Haka, and English.


Debbie Taylor

Debbie was born in Malaysia and moved to the USA to attend Southern Illinois University where she graduated in 2000 with a BA in Business Administration. Debbie is currently attending UIC working towards her MBA. Debbie speaks several languages including Malya, Taiwanese, Mandarin Chinese, Japanese, Haka, Cantonese Chinese and English. Debbie has worked in the Import/Export Logistics and Distribution industry for over 5 years.

Ben Dagley

Ben Dagley represents FDL through his company Dagley Rep for the Eastern part of the USA market. Ben graduated from Ashland with an Engineering Degree after being a two-time runner up national wrestling champion. Ben has had a stellar sales and marketing career within the fastener industry posting top numbers for companies such as Ramco, Stelfast and HTI. Ben is an energetic breath of fresh air. He is extremely customer focused and reps many other none competing companies.
